Today is the most hectic day in my life. In the morning I had to go to the Land Office to meet a client. We have actually called the land office staff asking whether the officer is available today. The officer with the utmost confidence said yes... and to my biggest disappointment when I arrive... I was told that the officer was actually on a course until Thursday. I feel like burning down the whole office. To add to my dissapointment...anger... frustration... I was scolded by the client for the whole thing that had happened. Not wishing to turn down the client I ran up and down and around the land office to see whether there are other officer available and s you know nobody is available on this particular unlucky day of mine.
When I was back at the office the first thing that I had to face is that my boss was already in and waiting for me unpatiently. I put my bag down and went straight to her and again scolded for being forgetful (I really forgot to call my client and ask him to come to the trial tomorrow). I sat in front her and barely concentrate on whatever she was saying. Everytime she asked me my opinion on the case... I actually repeating whetever she had told me in the past (i don't really care whether she remember saying all those things or not... because I was really so damn tired!). In between the discussion with her she kept asking other things.... this file... that file... please do this and do that. My stomach was actually in that particular time soooooo lapar... it was so lapar until I feel I wanna puke. And I lost my appetite and I barely eat my nasi. I ate half of my half portion of rice (in other words... I only eat 1/4 of the full portion).
I spent most of my times in the afternoon until the end of our working hour to type the questions for the trial tomorrow and emailing it to my boss. At 5.30 (the time of which I should be heading home) a client called and asked a lot of things that I felt like slamming down the phone ( I don't actually slam it down but I told her that a client was waitinf for me when in fact my officemates are waiting for me outside the office... hehehe!)
Just hope that tomorrow is not as busy as today...
